I loved 1994's THE SHADOW, either despite/because of its tonal inconsistencies. The film wavered from ruthless violence to camp, often within the same scene, which is an interesting decision. It was also nice to see this kind of film veer more toward Indiana Jones than Tim Burton's first Batman film ... but it would have been nice had the The Shadow's marketing not been so ashamed of its 1930s pedigree. Which is what I intended to do with THIS design: harken back to the kind of design favored by movie posters and pulps of the period.
