Brian De Palma's 1974 "Phantom of the Paradise" is a long-time source of inspiration for me. It's a perfect film, from the choice of leads, to its criticism of the merging of art and commerce, to the music by Paul Williams. Despite becoming a murderer, the Phantom is an innocent in the game ... I tried to present that feeling of uncertainty and insignificance in this piece.
This 5" x 7" canvas print with a matte finish. A sawtooth photo hanger is already installed on the back of the canvas frame.
(A Sharpie is included in the photo for scale.)
