Little Fibia 1969 concert poster | 11x17 Art Print

  • Details
Little Fibia's rise was only less sudden than his fall, which came suddenly with his disappearance in 1970. Conspiracy theories abound, none of which have ever been substantiated. This poster chronicles his appearance at a Bill Graham music festival on Dec. 6, 1969, a date with sinister connotations. (Google it.) This show bands such as Led Zeppelin, Tiny Tim, Soft White Underbelly, Curt Wild and the Rats, The Folksmen and Electric Mayhem warming his crowd. By this point in his career, Fibia has fully embraced the acid culture, in both his music and lifestyle. He's long since ditched his backing band The Tibias, and was supported at this show by Soft White Underbelly ... who would change their name to Blue Oyster Cult not long after.
